County Fair- Growing up, the County Fair was my favorite week of the entire year. I swear I slipped into a slight depression after the fair was over. My show calves had been sold and heifers turned out to pasture, and I had no projects in the works. None the less, 4-H not only taught me what hard work and responsibility are, but also instilled a love of agriculture and making things with my own 2 hands. I owe a lot of who I am to lessons I learned during my childhood years through 4-H, and my parents of course, who were the core of everything 4-H during those years of my life.
