About The MP

Sip a latte/mocha/frappe or smoothie from the full coffee/smoothie bar while you browse the inspiring home decor ideas and trendy women's boutique, all at affordable prices. With free wi-fi, large dressing rooms and bathrooms, tables and chairs are available if you need a seat to work or relax and chat with friends.
The Market Place opened in summer of 2015, with the owner, Jaime England, envisioning what could be in a large, vacant storefront on Main Street. Her goal was to create an unexpected, inspiring, fun shopping destination experience in her hometown of Manning, Iowa, population 1,500. With a full coffee/smoothie bar, home & women's boutique, and a wide range of gifts, they also host classes, workshops, and many events throughout the year.
The Market Place won Best Interior Rehabilitation from Main Street Iowa (2017) and Best Gift Shop in Carroll County (2019). They focus on a family-friendly atmosphere with a children's play area, kid-friendly bathrooms and changing table, and ADA bathrooms.
